WELCOME TO CHEYENNE BAPTIST TEMPLE
Thank you for allowing us an opportunity to introduce you to
Cheyenne Baptist Temple. Living in today's world brings many
uncertainties and questions that demand an answer. The answer
is Jesus Christ, the pillar and ground of Truth. In our lives
today where it seems that where everything is changing, Jesus
is the Firm Foundation on which we can stand.
Cheyenne Baptist Temple has been reaching out to the community of Cheyenne and
the Military families of the area since 1947. If you are not
currently involved in a Bible-Believing church, we extend a warm
and friendly invitation for you to come and visit us at CBT.
YOUR FIRST VISIT
Visiting a church for the very first time can be a bit nerve racking.
Where do we go? What do we wear? What time do the services start? Is there anything for the kids? What will the
services be like? All of these questions, and others just like them, are normal. And because we know this information
is important, we have tried to anticipate and answer any questions you might have. If you have a question and can't
find the answer on this page, please do not hesitate to call the church office at 307.632.1996 and speak to one of
our ministry staff. They will be glad to help you.
Where is Cheyenne Baptist Temple located?
Though we have been in our current location for more than 60 years, people still ask, "Where is your church?" You will find
us at 1621 E. Pershing Blvd. (on the corner of Pershing Blvd. and Logan Ave).
What can I expect at Cheyenne Baptist Temple?
You can expect to be made to feel "at home." The CBT Family is one of the friendliest church families you will find anywhere.
Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by one of our greeters. They will be glad to answer any questions you may have, and
then direct you and your children to the appropriate locations.
During the Sunday School/Bible Study time (9:45 AM), both you and your children will receive sound Bible teaching from one of
our many gifted teachers. Then at 11:00 AM, during the morning preaching service, your children will have a blast in our Children’s
Church, while you enjoy the wonderful music presented by our adult choir, soloists, and various groups, followed by a challenging
message from our Pastor, Dr. John Page.
What Should I Wear?
There is no strict dress code to attend our public services, but in case you're wondering, a majority of our church members wear
their "Sunday best" — the men in a dress shirt and dress slacks, typically with a tie, and the women in modest dress.
