Ministries
At Cheyenne Baptist Temple we endeavor to teach God's Word. Our Sunday School program starts from birth and goes all the way through our senior citizens.
The Bible is our text book, and we use only the King James Version in all of our classes. This ministry gives all a place to grow in their faith and discover God’s will for each person and family.
Our teachers feel they are called by God to serve in their places of ministry, and each one is a member in good standing of our church.
We have graded classes through High School and Adult.
Nursery Department
Nothing serves as so precious a reminder of God's blessing to us as the birth of a child. Every newborn baby should have the joy and privilege of being brought into a truly Christian home. It is the responsibility of the local church nursery to provide all the help possible to parents as they seek to serve the Lord, bringing their children to church, and teach their children to know God. Our nursery is fully equipped and staffed by loving, trained volunteers. They provide a clean and safe environment with a security system. Parents can have peace of mind while they attend any of the worship services that their newborns through two year olds are being well taken care of. With all the attention given to the physical facilities of the nursery, let us never forget the vital importance of the Christian Family.
Children’s Church
Children are a gift from God. Our junior church service is an hour packed full of games, Bible lessons and songs just for 3 years old through 4th grade to learn about God and His Word. They will learn the good news of Jesus Christ and how He died for their sins that they may have eternal life.
Youth
Our desire is to introduce teens to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and to see every teen grow in their walk with the Lord. Young people must be taught the clear commandments of God's Word. The Bible says in II Timothy 2:2, "And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also." The purpose of the local church youth ministry is to help equip families with the necessary tools from God's Word to lay the right foundation for the rest of life. We must work to help entire families serve the Lord together.
Music Ministries
God has equipped his church with individuals who faithfully and lovingly serve Him. Our services are filled with soul-stirring, old-time evangelistic congregational singing combined with choir, individual groups, and instrumentals that contain a clear Biblical message honoring the Lord.
Discipleship Classes
Basic and Advanced Discipleship
These classes are especially designed for new converts. You will be taught principles from God’s Word that will help you build a foundation for your new life in Christ and strengthen your faith by teaching why we believe what we believe.
Outreach Ministries
Team Andrew
This is a church-wide canvassing of our city. Our goal is to knock on every door in the Cheyenne to share the good news of Jesus Christ and how He died for their sins that they may have eternal life.
Team Phillip
This team’s goal is to be a blessing to our visitors.
Team Barnabas
Ministering to the Members and absentees is the focus of this team.
Team James
This team prays fervently each week for our members, community, country, and the world.
